- Information Collection & Ambient Capture: Lorewell collects account and onboarding data such as display name, optional age range, occupation or role, preservation goals, experience areas, profile data, wisdom entries, audio files, transcripts, AI outputs, usage counters, and billing identifiers handled through Stripe. Onboarding context helps organize and retrieve wisdom later; exact birthdays are not required. If ambient capture features are introduced, they must require explicit enablement and clear device-level controls.
- OpenAI and other configured AI providers may process submitted text or audio for transcription, moderation, summarization, embedding, and retrieval. Provider processing is used to operate Lorewell features; public visibility and dataset licensing remain separate user choices.
- Data Encryption & Storage Architecture: Production storage uses provider encryption at rest, authenticated access controls, and separate visibility rules for private, shared, unlisted, and public entries. Public identity display is handled separately as named, anonymous, or anonymous with experience shown.
- Lorewell hosts and processes your Sparks according to the visibility, sharing, and licensing choices you make.
- Private entries are not shown to other users or public pages. Shared entries are visible to invited people. Unlisted entries are readable by anyone with the link. Public entries can appear in the Public Commons and search.
- Any future dataset licensing program is tracked separately from public posting.
- Users can request export from settings. JSON exports are generated on request for owned archive data when available; support-handled export requests are reviewed within 30 days.
- Users can request deletion from settings. Public display is removed promptly after the request is accepted; private archive cleanup is scheduled after a short grace period and targeted within 30 days unless billing, legal, consent, security, or abuse-retention duties require limited records.
- Site analytics may be used to measure traffic, search health, and product operations; email preferences are used for product operations and user-requested communications.
- Lorewell does not show ads in private vaults, Ask, Playbooks, shared pages, capture prompts, or private recommendations.
