The rules for using Lorewell and keeping your archive yours.
- Effective date

- Last updated

- Operator/legal entity
- Lorewell
- 1. Keep your login secure. You are responsible for keeping your password private and your account information accurate.
- You keep any rights you have in the wisdom, recordings, transcripts, and other content you submit.
- You grant Lorewell the license needed to host, process, search, and display content according to the visibility you choose.
- Public content can be displayed on Lorewell. Going public is not the same as joining a dataset.
- Any future dataset licensing program requires a separate opt-in and a clearly timestamped consent record.
- Example: making a Spark public lets people read it in the Public Commons; it does not enroll that Spark in a future dataset program.
- You must have the rights to upload what you submit and may not upload illicit, harmful, exploitative, dangerous, defamatory, or infringing content.
- Lorewell may remove, restrict, or route content to review when safety, abuse, legal, or rights concerns appear.
- 2. Subscription & Continuity of Service: Lorewell operates on a subscription model designed to fund the continuity of service required to preserve a private archive. If billing lapses, Lorewell may restrict new capture, sharing, or publishing until the account is restored.
- Lived wisdom is not guaranteed to be accurate, universal, or professionally applicable.
- Accounts may be suspended for abuse, impersonation, or repeated policy violations.
